Dear DDAS Members

A wee bit soggy underfoot in most places at the moment, be careful on slippery banks & platforms if you are venturing out during these colder, wetter months & remember to let someone know where you are and when you should be home (after that one last cast!).  Just a couple of things to let you know about if you do:

1. Temporary closure(s) of Luckfield lake - (a); We will be doing the annual 'Micro-chalking' of the lake on Saturday 7th from 9am & should be finished by 1pm all being well. (b); It will also be closed all day on Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th for tree coppicing work on the lane close to the lake. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but it will be for your benefit & safety in the future. 

2.  The Annual DDAS Xmas match at Revels is due to take place on Sunday 15th. The entry fee for the match is £10 with an optional £5 superpool. Open to ALL members & everyone who enters will receive a prize at a minimum value of £15, prizes include a free DDAS membership for the 2025/26 club year & varied amounts of local tackle shop vouchers, booze & chocolate!  Participant numbers are limited to 35 so please book in with Glenn (by text) asap: 07762 582661.... & for the regulars... it will be run slightly different to previous years because our landlord there; Jason Fricker is not running on all cylinders at the moment, we hope he gets well soon!!!

Finally, if your loved ones are struggling with what to get you for Xmas, don't forget to remind them that our local tackle shops can provide tackle vouchers for almost any amount... it makes sense of coArse!!!
