A 16 acre Nature Reserve close to Weymouth Town Centre but only fishable from certain areas... see details below.

16^th June – 14^th March (it is classed as part of the River Wey). Other restriction may be required at times during the season.

Pike fishing from 1st October only.

Fishing is ONLY  permitted from the purpose built platforms, or from the 2 swims in the trees adjacent to the public car park, see plan at bottom of page.

Keepnets permitted for SILVERFISH Only.  Barbless hooks only. 3 rods permitted if a 3 rod EA Licence is held. Baited rods are NOT to left unattended. Floating baits are NOT permitted.

No guns, fires or radios.  Dogs allowed if a DDAS dog licence is held & they are not left to wander around.

Primary members must be accompanied by a senior member, junior members allowed unsupervised.

Use suitable unhooking mats for all fish unhooked on the ground, if specifically targeting the larger carp, you are required to carry & use a landing net of 36” minimum diameter.  Unhooking fish from within a landing net held off the ground (between your legs) & returning immediately is permissible. No Fixed Weights, safety clip system allowed. The ‘Magic Twig or Wand’ system is NOT permitted. No lead core leader/lead allowed. Braided mainline is NOT permitted, hooklenghts at a minimum 12 inches are permitted.

Do not discard any fishing line (of any length) on the platforms or bank.
