Car Park & Lake Improvements.............

Members are advised that the Car Park for Heath Lake is currently undergoing alterations & improvements in preparation for it being used by prospective ‘Silverlakes’ clients as well as ourselves from April this year.

A new gate will also be put in place (a nice wooden one!), it is envisaged that this gate will not require a combination lock from April.

The first 200mtrs of the Bridleway to the Lake will also be levelled off and gravelled to allow vehicle access to the Sales office, the rest of it will soon be trimmed back and levelled off.

At the lake, members visiting may notice a small aluminium box close to peg 16, this contains a flow (turbidity) meter to enable the outlet water to be monitored, please do not tamper with it!

The lake will now remain at a reasonably constant level due to the outlet pipe being re-instated, the level will allow you to walk between pegs 10 & 11 (in the corner) without getting your feet wet &….. it wont be long before the 2nd gate (adjacent to peg 11) is back in action.  The collapsed part of the Bridleway adjacent to it will be repaired in the coming months (if not weeks), weather dependent!

If you do visit the Lake while work is being done on the Car Park, please park in the Layby opposite the entrance for the time being, no need to sign in at the moment, the box and log have been removed (a nice new box & log are currently under construction).

We apologise for any temporary inconvenience that this may cause.

Thank You.
