Wally’s Lake is over 1.5 acres & Meadow Lake is 2.75 acres, situated in a wooded valley in beautiful surroundings.  Both lakes have feature islands and varied depths.

Carp (25lb+), Roach, Bream (13lb+) & Skimmers.

*Night Fishing is allowed, members can fish the first 12 hours of a day/night session free of charge, thereafter, the fishery day/night ticket rates will apply.

The Season

Open all year (with the exception of the first 7 days of January each year)

Constraints

SIGN IN & OUT ''EVERYTIME'' PLEASE (Log book at top of track, next to gate)

Two Rods maximum, additional rods will be charged at the fishery day/night ticket rate.

Barbless hooks only, rigs will be checked by bailiffs.

DO NOT transfer fish between waters & no are fish to be taken away or killed.

When busy, please fish in your swim only & be considerate to other anglers.

No keepnets, a minimum 36” landing net required when targeting the bigger Carp.

No particle baits allowed, ie: Nuts, hemp, seed etc.

Unhooking mats must be used for all Carp.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

No bonfires, boats, swimming, drugs or heavy drinking.  The lakes are on private property and the highest possible standard of behaviour will be expected from all.

No Fixed Weights, safety clip system allowed.  Do not discard any fishing line (of any length) on the bank.

No dogs except on a lead and under control.

Directions and Location

Approaching from Dorchester on the A352, turn right at the A353 roundabout towards Weymouth. Pass through Poxwell, turn left at the Osmington Mills sign, (opposite a car sales garage), …continued below…….

Approaching from Weymouth, follow the A353 Wareham road. Pass through Osmington village and turn right at the sign for Osmington Mills (opposite a car sales garage)………After approx 300yds, park in the layby on the right, opposite the Farmhouse/riding arena (do not park on the farmhouse side of the road).  Walk through the entrance to the farmhouse/stables and follow the track down to the lakes.   Remembering to sign the log on the way!
