Grayling Match at Wool - Sunday 3rd Nov
4 November 2013

Match at Wool on the Frome for the Grayling Shield yesterday.....the downstream wind didn't help the presentation but a good few Grayling came to the net, approx 24 fish between 1 and 2.5 lb were landed above the old bridge, the best one taken by club Treasurer David Tattersall..2lb 8oz..well done Tatts!
A couple came out between the bridges, but what was nice to see was a few dace, roach and a small chub.
Below the bridges produced about 20 grayling up to 2lb and the odd sea trout.
In general, a good day, shame about the wind.
White maggot seemed to be the best bait.
