Great weekend had by the 13 members who attended the ‘DDAS Cider-Fish-Fest’ at Goodiford Mill Fishery in Devon (Cullumpton) last week.

The fishing on the Saturday was ‘hot’..not just the weather, the average weight of mainly Carp on the day was approx’ 70lb, the top 2 weights being over 110lb.
The BBQ back at the camp in the evening was great fun, lots o’ laughs & lots o’ Cider (& JD, JB & Captain M).
The match on the Sunday was a little bit of a blur for most, but at least we all managed to fish….BAR 1….say no more on that one!

 Again, some good weights, not as high an average as Saturday, but the top weight being better at 125lb, followed by a 98lb.
The Chairman fished the Specimen lake overnight on Saturday (not a matchman!) & managed to bring 7 double figure Carp to the net early on the Sunday, the best being the 19lb fish in the photo attached.
All in all… a great weekend, roll on next year.
